Bring your little ones for a session of stories and songs in our kids corner. Our Storytime Sessions for under 5s offer a relaxed, friendly environment to uncover and encourage a love of books and reading in children (and adults too!) They feature new books and old favourites and are an opportunity for young children to escape into their imagination, as well as to make real life friends.
Free drop-in session. No booking required.
Story & Rhyme Time
Fridays: 1:30pm – 2:30pm
FREE @ Farsley Library
Fun session for under-fives, sharing stories and rhymes. These informal sessions help children develop early speech and language skills and a love of books and reading. Children can also investigate the Mini Playbox packed with fun activities. They’ll find six drawers packed full of open-ended play activities designed to help with speech and language development and numeracy skills.

Children’s Day at Farsley Lit Fest
Tuesday 28th October
Join some of our favourite local, children’s authors for fun, interactive workshops. Discover exciting children’s books, celebrate storytelling and take part in engaging activities. It’s a day for the family to enjoy together, helping children develop the skills and confidence to become the writers, readers and creatives of the future.
